Trisonic TS-RC488 Hi,I lost the remote to my symphonic tv, so i went out and bought a Trisonic TS-RC488 universal remote control...it says on it that it support symphonic tvs, but inside the manual it doesn't even have symphonic listed in the brand list codes...does anybody have the codes? and if so, how do i encode it?

Trisonic TS-RC488 universal remote control Setup by Brabd Code According to the attached brand Code List, find out the brand name and code of the device that you want to control(for example, you can find codes for SONY TV:000,001,012,013 etc.). Then follow these steps:
A-Press the (SET) key and hold it, then press the (DEVICE) key that you want to control, such as (TV1), (VCR),etc.
B-The LED will light at that moment. Then released both pressed keys.
C-Enter the 3-digit Device Code.(For example:000 for SONY TV).
D-If the entered Divece Code is correct, the LED will blink twice and stay in the set-up mode. Then return to step C.
E-Try the functions on the Remote Control and if most keys work improperly, try other codes from the same brand. (for example: code 001, 012, 013 under SONY TV), repeat A-E until most function keys work properly.

Code to program my tv

normaly press and hold the device you wish to program till the light stays on then enter code if the code is a valid one the light should go off and then you may be able to turn off tv if not repeat steps and use diff code here are the codes i know of for daewoo tv 0130 0004 0009 0100 0005 0138 0043 0140 0039 0252 0279 0444 0080 0042 0058 0017 0010 0126 0018 0127 0019

you can try this one...109 only one listed....

A: power on the device you want to controll
B:press and hold the (set) keyand press the device key at the same time..
C:the LED will light at that moment then release the pressed keys..
D:PRESS THE SET KEY AGAIN THEN RELEASE IT. THE REMOTE ENTERS THE QUICK SEARCH MODE AND THE LED KEEPS FLASHING...

OK EVERYONE I FOUND ALL YOUR ANSWERS , IM JOHN FROM NEW JERSEY [email protected] , FOR THE TRISONIC UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL , TC-RC488 AND MAYBE OTHERS , INSTEAD OF THE CODES THIS IS EASIER,TURN ON THE TV OR VCR ETC.
