Can't get the watch to synchronize

My T-Touch will not synchronize. I have followed what I believe to be the steps in the manual. However I must admit that the manual directions leave much to be desired. The pictures just aren't doing it for me. I have placed the watch in it's correct mode, then put the hands at 12 then held down the central button for 5, no synchro. Can't get it to work. Just need step by step text to describe proceedure. Thanks

Your battery maybe down in power ie not much longer before it runs flat this seems to cause the problem you descibe ..otherwise it should set as long as you are following the correct procedure from the manual

I had the same problem and found by trial and error that the manual that describes how to synchronize is not correct. You need to push the center button on side of watch, then touch the crystal in the center to cycle between time, date and 24H Fft (which I think is the units). When on 24H... push and hold the center button on the side again and the display will say SYNCH. Move the hour and minute hands to 1200 position (top button moves minute hand and bottom button moves minute hand and then touch the screen to set it. I have had my watch over a year and a half without battery change and the synch worked well.....but only after much trial and error and almost bringing my watch back to return it. Otherwise it has been a great watch.

Synchronize analog and digital time on Tissot T33 T-Touch Watch

I could not get any result from entering your model in their web site but the "T Touch online" seems to be a watch that has similar features perhaps.

Their catalogues seem to be generic, so by going to their web site http://support.tissot.ch/?mod_flashPDF/id_138 you may finswhat you need.

The Tissot Touch watch is expected to need "SYNCHRONIZTION" periodically. (that is, to synchronize the digital and analog portions.) The Tissot manual tells how to do this. This manual came with your watch and is available online from the Tissot website.
