Printer making funny noise and print is almost peeling off the page on the right side
Its a H.P Laser jet 3050, been working perfectly, now it is making a funny catching noise and printing a dark line down the right hand side. Also the print on the right hand side is now starting to become unclear and almost peel off. You can actually rub it off with your finger.
I have taken the cartridge out, looked inside and found bits of a hard, plastic beige colour????

There are two things that can cause print quality problems and a noises. One being the toner cartridge and the other being the fuser assembly. If you have already replaced the toner cartridge and it did not take care of the problem then the fuser may need to be replaced. You can take it to a local printer repair shop to get it fixed.
Some Laser printers require the paper to be loaded out of the **** on one side to work well. Flip your paper **** over and try loading the paper upside down. Sounds funny but may fix your issue. Also look at the type of paper you are using your printer may need a thicker or thinner paper (look at the manual). Clean the pickup rollers!
250-sheet input tray (tray 1)
The input tray holds up to 250 pages of 80 g/m2 or 20 lb paper or fewer pages of heavier media
(25 mm (0.9 inch) or less stack height). Load media with the top forward and the side to be printed
facing down. To prevent jams and skewing, always adjust the side and rear media guides.
NOTE When you add new media, make sure that you remove all of the media from the input
tray and straighten the stack of new media. This helps to prevent multiple sheets of media
from feeding into the all-in-one, which can cause jams.
Hope this helps if not you may have a registration roller problem.
