Is the picture in a green shade or the whole screen is simply green?
if the second one is currect - the connection to the video source is lost. some tv do a blue or a green screen in order to prevent that anoying sound that the old tv used to make.
try to reconnet your source (PC or a DVD player, whatever you can).
if it works on other devices - your device is probably damaged.

Picture is too red

sounds like you may have a bulb out, you can pull the screen off to access it but you have to very careful with the screens or you will damage them, only clean with isopropyl alcohol and of good quality, there will be three bulbs in there, red blue green, their location and direction is very important, so dont move them, if they all work clean then put the screens back on, and see if you can adjust the direction from the menu

The colour on my TV is a reddish colour. Have tried the colour adjustment. Skin colours in particular.

simple. easy. you have 3 screen adjustments. red green blue. turn color all the way down. you should then get just a black and white picture, but in your case, it will still be reddish. behind the speaker grill is an access panel for screen adjustment. remove speaker grill. remove access panel. you will see a block assembly roughly 6 inches square with 6 knobs on it. 3 are for screen, 3 are for focus. adjust until you have a black and white picture. then go into menu and turn your color back up. enjoy!

How do you adjust color, color seems too green?

There should be colour settings under the "picture" tab in the menu. In the colour settings you can change the level of green, blue and red (the 3 that make white) Here you can scale the green back to make it closer to equal with blue and red

Black/Green Distortion - Picture Quality - Wharfedale

This is no solution but a point in a probable direction.

A tech guy told me ALL the LCDs they have seen in their repair shop have "swollen" capacitors, this is due to voltage instability. Lowering the internal voltage regulator and replacing the swollen capacitors (which eliminate noise) apparently restores the LCD to new working quality. Without actually "seeing" my problem the tech said that should repair it. I have not tried this yet but eventually will begin that way.

Picture is green and fuzzy in shaded areas

I have only see this issue caused by either a defective main bd. or a defective A/V bd. I am sorry but both would require a new bd and no simple repair exists.
