Question about Macally Computers & Internet
SOURCE: trouble pairing my bluetooth Macally BT micro mouse
Q: After pairing my mouse, the button click works but cursor tracking does not move. What can I do?A: The cursor tracking problem is because red sensor LED is not on. Please try another set of battery or fully charge battery again, and verify if bottom red LED turns on. If red LED still does not turn on, please remove batteries from mouse, press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds, next press and hold the left and right buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds, followed by several clicks. Install the battery into mouse, you should see red LED turns on, mouse cursor will move.

SOURCE: the mouse was working with windows seven and now
These things are always a bit touchy and I havent worked with that exact model but I have seen the problem before.
The base(reciever) unit is USB right? If so unplug the base unit and wait a bit and plug it back in. If windows does not autorecognise the mouse try unplugging it again and rebooting the machine. After it reboots trying plugging it back in. Windows should recognize it. If not, make sure that the base unit and the mouse do not have some sort of buttons you need to press to get them to syncronize.
Try uninstalling the drivers and unplug the mouse and reboot. Then try setting it up like a new mouse. If that doesnt work try new drivers from Logitech. If that still doesnt work then there could be a problem with the mouse or a problem with a corrupt entry in the registry.
I am no prepared to take the risks of stepping someone through editing the registry so I hope one of the options above fixes the problem.
