GE Spacemaker Microwave JVM1653WD004 Turntable not Working
I have a 2 year old GE Spacemaker Microwave and the turntable is suddenly not working and makes a loud grinding noise when it tries to work. I read on the FixYa site that I need a microwave motor and it is fairly easy to fix. Where can I buy this part?

This is a common problem the turntable motor has failed, it can be replaced.. but Microwaves are VERY dangerous. Due to the enormous energy stored in the main Capacitor, this MUST be discharged to earth B4 attempting any repairs. apart from that though should be easy enough. I do recommend a reputable service center/man tho.
YOU CAN TRY REMOVING THE GLASS TRAY AND TURNTABLE AND REPLACING IT WITH YOUR OLD GLASS TRAY (IF YOU HAD ONE) OR JUST ANY GLASS MICROWAVE TRAY. WITHOUT THE TURNTABLE, I CAN'T SEE HOW IT CAN ROTATE.
