How I can enable Hibernate and Stand By button? I have windows XP SP3

You can enable hibernation in Windows XP by following the steps below.
1. Type powercfg.cpl in the Run window. To get the Run window press Win key + R. Or, you can go to the control panel and click on Power Options.
2. Find the Hibernate tab and click on it. Check the Enable Hibernation check box. In case its necessary, free up some space on you C: drive by running disk cleanup or your favorite system cleanup utility.
3. Now you can hibernate your system by clicking on the Start button and then on the Turn Off Computer (or Turn Off ). You'll see three standard options, Standby, Turn Off And Restart.
Hold Shift key and you'll see the Standby button turns into Hibernate button. Click to hibernate (Still holding the Shift key).
4. Optionally you can do this: Create a batch file for hibernating, and put it on you desktop. Every time you need to hibernate your system, just double click this file from your desktop. To do this, First Open up Notepad, type the following line in it.
%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState Hibernate
Then save the file as, something.bat onto your desktop. Run this batch file to hib
Or you can
manually put your computer into hibernation:
1)Open Power Options in Control Panel.
2)Click the Hibernate tab, and then select the Enable hibernate support check box.
If the Hibernate tab is not available, your computer does not support this feature.
3)Click OK to close the Power Options dialog box.
4)Click Start, and then click Shut Down. In the What do you want the computer to do drop-down list, click Hibernate.
To automatically put your computer into hibernation:
1)Open Power Options in Control Panel.
2)Click the Hibernate tab, select the Enable hibernate support check box, and then click Apply.
If the Hibernate tab is unavailable, your computer does not support this feature.
3)Click the APM tab, click Enable Advanced Power Management support, and then click Apply.
4)Click the Power Schemes tab, and then select a time period in System hibernates. Your computer hibernates after it has been idle for the specified amount of time.
