How do you get the arm back over the carousel so you can play a CD initially?

The gripper motor is powered by the K6 switch which is a copper wiper ring you can see at the end of the gearbox. If that is dirty or has a dead spot it will stop the motor before it should.

Hello,

With regards to your problem with the Rowe Ami 100 cd jukebox.
Do you have a manual, if not I suggest you buy a printer manual or one on CD and refer to the Programming and Installation section.

In order for the jukebox to know about the cd's that are installed in the jukebox it has to initialize all or the changed cd's that have been replaced within the jukebox.

Put the jukebox into the Service Mode (the service mode should appear on the display)
Type 3 to select the Initialize sub menu
Type 0 and full initialize will appear on the display
Press Popular to start the initialization
Place the jukebox service switch into the normal mode

Initiazation will take around 30 minutes to complete.

Selections already made on jukebox, how do I clear them

Hello stillwell42,

What model is your Rowe Ami jukebox, there will be an information label on the back or inside the jukebox with the serial number and the model type. We can suggest a solution once we know your model type.

HELP: Stopped spinning

It's likely the belt has slipped of and probably needs replacing. You can do this yourself. It will be found under the turntable matt. The trick though is fitting it back on. But you might find the instructions on-line (enter the model number into google search). Some people have even put YouTube video's on how to replace the belt on popular turntables.

Carosel doesnt turn on rowe ami r-82 jukebox

First check to make sure you are getting power to the drive system. If turntable is belt driven, check power to drive motor, then check the belt. Otherwise it is direct drive, which means the turntable is connected directly to ths motor and the motot will have to be replaced.

Rowe Ami R-80 imperial jukebox

Hello Andy,

Yes I know the 1976 Rowe Ami R-80 jukebox very well as well as most of the other Rowe Ami jukeboxes.

The turntable motor and the lighting work off of the 110 volt output from the power supply.
The other power voltages are connected to the power supply via the molex plug.

Pin 1 30VDC white/red
Pin 2 30VAC yellow/black
Pin 3 Common black
Pin 4 Ground gren/yellow
Pin 5 No connection
Pin 6 Common black

All the voltages are protected by circuit breakers.

I assume that you may be in the UK if this is the case here are my contact details.

I HAVE A 1951 AMI D-80 JUKEBOX,THE TURNTABLE IS JAMMED.

There are two motors with beige/tan plastic covers over them, one on turn table platter and the other on the record changer mechanism table. Take the cover off the one on the turntable and spin the motor by hand. Depending on how you spin it the arm will either go back up or down

Jukebox Rock-ola 464 wont turn on

Hi sullysfarm,

Here are the details of an action on Ebay for a 464 manual in the USA.
Rock-Ola 464 Jukebox Service Manual Item number: 220350796639

With regards to your jukebox not working after transportation I would check to see that you have not caught any power switches that are on the back of the jukebox (these may be in a recess) or check all the plug in connectors for a loose connection.
