Hi, I have a Samsung TXN3298HF and it will not power up, no beep or LED action. It's like pressing a button on the TV when it's not plugged in, it will do absolutely nothing when I press the power button. I took the case off and I checked the inline fuse and it is fine. I can at least verify that 115V is getting to at main system board inside. Just today when I hit the power button, the TV does nothing. Does anybody know of a common problem with these TV's? Or where to get a reasonably priced service manual? I'm guessing it's power supply issue or there is some safety circuitry that kicked in. Thanks, AM
Hi I have a Samsung Tantus Dynaflat 32 inch flat screen TXN3298hf that all of a sudden stopped working...no power no nothing. We opened up the back and found that a 5 amp fuse had blow. This fuse regulates that power supply to the tv and can be found at the end of the power cord prior to the circuit board. Hope this helps.
If only you know how to use digital tester or analog then it easier for you to conclude cause you need a voltage reading the power supply, the ac input then dc input and the power regulator in and out voltage.
I had encountered the same problem and i isolated the rectifier diode located at the secondary area of the power supply board. I found out a shorted rectifier diode. Replace it and im sure this will solve your problem that if the part that i mention is the same that i encountered.
