IO just bought this washing machine. I get it home, set it up, w/ a dryer on top, and the washing machine will not spin. I close the door, turn it to the first cycle, the door lock light comes on, the water fills, then nothing; the knob doesn't move, the washer doesn't spin, nada. I called the guy I bought it from (got it from a guy who deals w/ "cosmetic" damaged goods) and he said that the first time it runs it needs awhile for the ocmputer inside to get programmed, or something like that. I'm not sure if he's just telling me that or what. I unplugged it, per his suggestion, for a few hours, and then tried to run it again (w/ clothes) and nothing still. Any suggestions? He said it worked for him right before I picked it up - and when I picked it up, he was wet. I could return it, I suppose -- just a huge hassel.

MY washer will spin for actual wash cycle but will not discharge water or go into high speed spin cycle. the timer will finish but cloths are still wet and not spun dry
