I have a DVR-DX600 Sanyo that suddenly wont scan the television stations anymore. I think my son wrecked it somehow. It has been working fine. I can get the tv stations on the television fine, but when i put it through the dvd excatly how I have done before and go to the intial setup again, it says there are no chanels found. Any help would be good.

I have the areial in on the dvd and the other part of the areial is in the wall outlet. I thought thats how I originally had it but. I couldn't get the tv stations without using the dvd. Now I can't get the tv stations on the dvd or tv unless I take the areial back out of the dvd and put it back into the televison.

Look like your arial cable connected correctly I Thing the problem is in your DVD recorder. Try 1 more time unplug AC lead from your DVD recorder for about 1 min then hook up the arial cable to arial in on your DVD recorder use composite output or component output to your video input on your TV make sure select same input on remote control now plug in the AC lead from DVD recorder and initalizer the setup select auto turning if you see same messaged as no channel found on your TV that mean the tuner in DVD recorder defective, let me know how you go

Most likelly it is your DVR that has a problem. Their are a lot of issues with those DVR's from the cable or satellite companies. I would recomend swapping it out.

Sanyo DVR-DX600 Region Code

Hi,

Could you pls try:
1. Remove DVD or video from the player.
2. Press the ‘Set-up’ button on the remote control.
3. Select the ‘System Info’ mode from the on-screen menu.
4. Using the remote control 10-key type in ‘1101′
5. ‘Region code’ should appear as an option on the ‘System Info’ menu. Initially the region code will be set to 2. Press ‘0′ on your remote control using the 10-keys to set to multi-region.
6. Press ‘OK/Enter’ on the remote control.
7. Finish by pressing the ‘Set-up’ button once more.
This was actually intended for a Sanyo DVR-V100E &HVRDX610 but I was made to understand should also work for DVR-DX600. This was originally posted here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

32" TV Screen Problem

This is a pin cushoning fault. The failure is in the pin amp, and also most likely in the scan amplifier sections. The scan amps and pin amp in part of their functions work together to control the paralax of the picture scanning. They also control the dynamic focus.

To service this, you will need the training, service information, the testing tools, parts availability, and the necessary tools to follow up.

These types of faults can be complex to service, and can be a chalenge to even an experienced tech.
