When i turn my tower on, it shuts right off... but then turns back on (by itself) and beeps some sort of code at me, 1 beep 3 beeps 3 beeps 1 beep... i dont know what to do.
Tried cleaning the insides of the computer... pretty dusty cuz it was an old computer... hey it worked! my conputer is fine... just dont forget to plug everything in! and the code (1 3 3 1) it means theres a bad connection in the tower and the tower cannot complete the task at hand (via turning on for me...)

If
you are receiving continuous beeps, it means that computer is not
recognising the RAM (memory). In this you have to open the Computer and
follow the below steps:
1. Turn OFF the computer 2. Open the flap of the Tower (Remove the screws from the back of Tower) 3. Now, On the Motherboard you will be able to see the RAM see the picture
4. There should be two pins to unlock and remove it 5. Once removed, clean the terminal and replug it. 6. Turn ON the computer, it should take care of the issue
during these beeps there should be pause between them at some point...in other words you may get 2 beeps/pause/1beep/pause/2 beeps noting the number of beeps and where the pauses are will help. From what you are describing and without more info it sounds as if you are describing beep codes, and they generally can give us a lot of information.
the beeping is post codes. they are telling you something is wrong. the code is a code for what is wrong like 3 beeps 4 beeps 1 Beep then repeatsthat code is 341. first thing i would do is pull out you ram and reseat it. that is the most common problem.
