The sales man just told me that I can't use small satellite speakers if i have Large speakers in the front. He claims that the sound would be hurt.

Can I only use small satellite speakers if i have satellite speakers in the front?
Re: Can i use small satelite speakers with my big front...
Hi, I asume your setting up a home theater with five speakers a center left and right
and rear surrounds don't know if you have a subwoofer. The large speakers in the front will work fine if you set the amp to large front speakers the bass will be sent to these.
If you have a subwoofer set, the amp to small front speakers and the bass will be directed to it. Also try to get a center channel speaker that sounds somewhat like your large speakers.

Depending on the type of satelite speakers, Bose for example used on their own would be damaged, if your satelite plugs into a sub speaker they are protected by circuitry that controls output level when tied into the whole system, so using them on their own is not a good idea.
that code usually is either for the tpms reset, or a satelite transmission reciever number, it will either reset the tire pressure monitor system, or enable you to recieve satelite redio servive with a subscription. hope this helps
U deside cable or satelite. My opinon the Cable is better because no need a big hunk of aluminun dish eye sore in front of ur apartment or house. The weather is bad the satalte don't work so good etheir.
you need the the satellite speakers hooked up in order for the sub to work. its not a standalone sub the volume control knob on the satellite speaker is what powers on the sub. i have extra speakers i wish i could give you cuz my sub just blew out.
I had this problem as well, I finally figured out that the rubber plugs that allow you to remove the dust cover are able to be pulled off. Get a pair of plyers and just yank em out, which will reveal 4 discreetly placed screws :). I am having somewhat of the same problem you are however, and opening the speakers up did no good for me, the wiring seemed fine but I still get a rattling or complete silence whenever I exceed a certain volume. Let me know if you manage to find anything out and if you solve the problem, I'd like to try it so I don't have to try to find a replacement satellite.
hi i used to have the same problem opening the satellite speakers of atp3 (left satellite, the cord was pulled and snap from the inside). i found out how to open them but there's a good and bad news. the good news is i know how to open them, the bad news is that it will cause some damage on your satellite speaker.a friend of mine used to have the same speaker he accidentally drop one of his satellite speaker (left one) and the bottom cover just crack open following the joint line. the satellite speakers of atp3 has no connecting screws , it is assembled using a sort of super glue. here is how i opened my satellite speaker. i used a flat screw driver (i sharpened it a bit to easily penetrate the joint) to shove the bottom cover of the speaker starting from the back part (near the cord) then slowly made my way around when the cover start to snap from where i started. you can remove the bottom cover this way but be aware that it will cause some damage on you speaker. i started shoving from the bottom back part because the damage is unnoticed when you reassemble it using a super glue and i use a black paint to hide the discolored plastic casing cause by force opening.
