My dvd player just stop working

If your mini DVD player reads "No Disc" after you've loaded the disc, it means the machine isn't reading the DVD. Take the DVD out again and clean it. It's quite possible that the disc is simply dirty and cleaning it will solve the problem immediately.
However if the problem persist test the following:

1. Bad connections to one or more buttons or sets of buttons.
2. Microcontroller failed to reset properly.
3. Missing/bad voltages from power supply.
4. Defective microcontroller or other logic.

go to the repair shop FOR fix it.

The READ head is dirty or damaged...very difficult to get to the back of TV to disassemble DVD player.. clean read (light diode) head with light cleaning fulid or don't take apart & use official cleaning DVD disc. Look on web site for CD\dvd cleaning disc.It looks like a CD but has 'fuzz' or a very thin " rug" on 'read' side of disc.

In most cases when the CD does not play it is possible that the optical head is a suspect. Sometimes it might pick up ordinary audio CD but will not play other formats. This indicates that the optical head is weak and so there is no detection or scanning of the CD . If the optical is working the tracks will be read immediately but with no scanning the laser head can be defective.

The main motor will not work in some cases as unless the tracks are read the drive motor will not work with signal from the processor.
Sometimes certain cleaner disks will not be tracked to run for cleaning as it will not be read and so will reject. Hence it is ideal to manually clean the laser head eye using a cleaning swap /cotton bud with gentle pressure on the lens eye.
If there is no result then watch if the CD spins or tries to spin. If so the board seems to work unless a test is taken on the main board but the possibility of a defective optical head can be the suspected fault.
If any of the above seems otherwise we must recheck with possibilities of a malfunction of the main processor board

insert a disc cleaner before you try another DVD it might be dirty.

this means it cannot read the disc,try a lens cleaner it will work,if it doesnt replace the dvd lens.
