Hi all- I purchased a 27 inch Digimate LCD TV. When I turn the TV on to watch it, it works perfectly for about an 1/2 hour, then turns itself off. The front red display light completely goes away for a minute or two and then the red display light comes back, and the TV can be turn back on. I have tried all of the obvious troubleshooting measures like checking the sleep timer to make sure it is off, the electrical outlet, etc... I am wandering, could the TV be getting too hot and shutting itself off?? Thank you for any suggesting you can provide.
Go to Remotes.com. They can sell you a new remote, but before that, they have some steps you can go through that may fix your problems first. AHolland. Been there, done that.
Have you had this probelm fixed mine just starteed to do it and its only 8 months old and I cant afford to have it fixed please help if you can thanks

After our digimate LCD television was 1 year and 1Month old it would come on for a second and shut off. Future Shop (where we purchased it) had no help to give us. A local repair shop could not find a part nor could head office Future Shop. When contacting Digimate ( in UK) they said they did not sell the TV's or parts in Canada.
I have the same problem with my Digimate DGL26. Does anyone know the solution to this problem?
my 42" Toshiba Plasma would turn itself off after less than a minute. HELP!!
I bought my 26" Digimate in Jan 2005....I turn it on,,,no picture....sound is OK....I can not get any support from Future shop and local repair shops won't touch it because they can't get the specs. Anyone else have a similar problem or a set of specs?
