Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N1 8.1 Megapixel

I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-N1 8.1 Megapixel it takes great pictures but the lcd screen is dark u can see the pictures and the setup but the screen is dark and has no brightness to the lcd screen but everything else works real good

    Hello, 


    I have a problem that when taking night shots, my screen is so dark I cannot even see the subject I am trying to shoot... Please tell me that there is a solution as I am tired of just aiming and hoping for the best...

    I have the same problem too, I have tried the link given in the solutions but unfortunately the site blocked my ip address so still unable to fix the problem any advice greatly appreciated.

CCD imager chip is defective in your Sony DSC-T1 camera that is why you see no image in lcd screen.
Replace ccd imager chip to fix the camera problem. Local camera repair shop will help you to replace bad part if you have no experience of electronics stuff repair.

When I turn on my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 the screen is dark with the word "Access" on it, moments later it tells me to power it off adn on again, any ideas?

Its lens error in your DSC-W35 camera.
Lens mechanism is either stuck or not retract completely and system control sense this error. Please replace lens assembly to get it fixed because lens mechanism is not repairable.

Using a DSC-T1, when taking a still picture the LCD screen is very dark when taking outside and no picture visible inside. This is true of the picture if printed off.

Does camera shows old saved picture correctly? if YES, then its has god bad ccd imager problem and Sony will repair it free of cost.

Pictures are dark blue

You can't change the lense, it will be out of focus sometimes. The focus is set electronicly at the factory. Go into the setup screen and initialize the camera and see if it will fix it.

You have a backlight problem. Check your backlights if busted or if it has supply voltage... ^_^
