Question about DXG Technology DXG-305V Digital Camera

1 Answer

Broken? I got My DXG-305V a few weeks ago, and it acting wierd. I plugged it into my computer to get a few pictures off, then I safely removed it, and tried to turn it on, but it wouldn't. The little power light will turn green for a second and then turn red. I have changed the batteries, tried removing the memory card, and tried plugging it back into the computer, but nothing will work. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Download driver free

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

If you really want the driver, you may download it at http://www.dxgusa.com/CustomerService/Drivers/DXG305V.exe

I can not connect my DXG-305V digital camera to my computer

You will need to upload your images into a photo program (like iPhoto) to store and manipulate them. Once the camera is plugged in and detected, iPhoto automatically imports them into the program. It will store both still and video images and has some pretty good built in editing features. Hope this helps!

I found driverguide.com to be very helpful and have found a few sites through google for the software itself...driverguide will want you to become a premium member, but if you go free route it will take you through several ads, just dont bother with them, after about 5-6 ads i think you will get to download page for drivers
