Try uninstalling and then re-installing Media Player, rebooting in between.

No music files found in my music player

First, you have to put some music files in memory card using a card reader or using data cable.
Then you need to update media library to see the music files. DO the following:
1. open music player 2. Select Option 3. Click Media Library 4. Again go to option and select Update Library
You will see all your music files in music player.

I have already downloaded vlc media player. how do i install it and start using it to play my dvd"s?

download VLC only from the official website http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

you need to execute the file and follow the instructions.

When you're done doing that, you can select media and open it from there (CTRL+D)

You can also drag every media file on top of the VLC icon to play it (music, movies, pictures)

Is there an instruction manual which will tell me why I get a red triangle with!which says this video cannot be played?on adobe media player?

To know about file formats support by Adobe Media Player, open this link.

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AdobeMediaPlayer/1.7/Using/adobemediaplayer_1.7_help.pdf

You can have a research in Google Website about the various types of songs, audio clips or just simple as a sound file. And to know what program or software that support that file type.

In windows media player (all windows operating system has a Windows Media Player built in) basically can played standard audio and video formats like shown here:

http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00418.htm

And here are some glossary of file formats and how they differ from each other.

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-UoHVJFRE5Ps/learn/learningcenter/home/fileformats_glossary.html

For example you want to play a mp4 video file to your computer. First you should a video codec that will support the mp4 video file, like this one:

http://www.mediacodec.org/WECPSetup.exe

Copy this url to your browser to download this file.
Then proceed to installation.

1. Double click the download file
2. Click Next twice
3. Click Install
4. Allow to run update
5. Then Finish

Then you'll see the mp4 file will be played in Media Player

There are plenty of FREE open source media players that you can use. I recommend VLC player. It will play everything, unless the file is corrupted.

I cant play RAR Files on a download either with Media player or VLC Player ? Also VLC Player stalls and wont start playing anything at the moment and have tried updates but that seems OK Should I reinstall...

Any file that is a RAR file isnt a media file. Rar files are basically winzip files. You can use WINZIP 7 or WinRar to to open and extract Rar files. Go to www.Download.com tand search for WInRAR.Once you find it, download and isntall WinRAR> Use WinRAR to open and extract the RAR file you need.

How to download to mp3 player

What you need is Windows Media Player. But you have to make sure you have an updated version of Windows Media Player or it will not work. Then what you have to do is download music, I usually use Limewire or Blubster. When you have downloaded the files that you want you have to save the files. When you save the files you have to open them in windows media player, after opening them you pick that you want to sync the files to your mp3 player. Sometimes you have to save the files to your Windows Media Player. See if that works. I have this same mp3 player and that's how I do it.
