Question about Fisher and Paykel Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer IWL15

1 Answer

Flickering Display Intuitive ECO Q, problem is all display and lights are flickering intermittently. When this condition presents the entire washer is inoperative. It does seem to recover if I power off for a couple of minutes. The problem although intermittent is getting worse occurring once a week now where iy was once every 2 months. I always leave the power turned on when not in use.

That machine should always be switched off at the wall when not in use and the water turned off. You should also try to use a surge protector for the washing machine. It sounds like you have an intrmittent problem with the motor control module and it needs to be replaced.

Hi - this is a strange one - I could be wrong here but I think that theres two likely possibilities for you - first is the motor controller board could be faulty - it may have a short on the switch ic for the drain pump - the other is there maybe an air lock or blockage to the pressure tube - remove the display panel to access the clear tube - unclip it & blow into towards the bowl to see if theres a blockage.

You say as soon as the start switch is pushed the pump runs continously? or does it come on as soon as the power button is pushed? either way I think the controller maybe faulty - haven't come across aything like this one before...

Flickering below the task bar and now flickering on entire screen

If it is in warranty take to service center Or else, try to press & hold the bottom of the display screen. Becuase it may be problem in the display or in the cable or in the conncetion.
