Video appears B/W on TV...but not all TVs! Help please...

I have a Canon MVX450 camcorder which doesn't always show video as colour when it should be. All the leads are connected properly so maybe there's something I'm missing. The sound is perfect it's just the picture which isn't right. I've checked all the controls on the TVs as well.

Check for ntsc / pal video out put on camera.
Some tvs are auto detect so will work straight away .others not

You can connect the A/V output of the Camcorder to the A/V inputer(Yellow, REd and White) to view the recordings on the TV screen. Once you connect the Camcorder, playback the videos and select input using INPUT/TV/VIDEO button.

Windows 7 doesnt recognize canon mvx450 camcorder. i connect the camcorder with a firewire cable, it worked fine before in old windows, but in windows 7 it doesnt. computer doesnt even detect anything has...

Contact Canon - could be that the unit is not compatible with Win 7 and may need some other driver or patch to work properly.

TV won't show external device in colour

sounds like your using rca jacks yellow red white you need to use componet green blue red then red and white for audio

Canon FS200 - I can't get video to play back on a TV. I connect the supplied cable to the AV OUT terminal on the camcorder and then plug in the audio and video connections on the cable to the correct color...

Post picture of hookup but you may have a bad cable.

Canon HV10 not recognized

It appears that you are missing a driver from Canon for your camera. FireWire is an unusual interface and most PCs were not plug-and-play for this interface.

AV cables don't work

ur av cable is faulty try changing it, try the sound cable normally the red one on video port on both sides check if video works or not , if thats the case ur av cable is faulty

Sony CCD-V8AF-E Video Camera Good Afternoon, I have a very old CCD-V8AF-E camera and a number of tapes with family movies recorded on them. I want to copy the movies onto a more permanent medium on my computer and to DVD's. The camera has not been used for many years and now when I tried to do the copying, I discovered that the cassette holder will not open when the eject button is pushed. The light above the eject button comes on solid yellow in colour and after a few seconds begins blinking and the cassette holder does not open. There is no tape currently in the camera. I would appreciate it if there is anyone who can give me any ideas on how I can get the cassette holder open. Thanks in advance David Rae.
