I have a JVC tv. on every channel a black box appers on the screen blocking the shows. even when we put in a DVD it still appers on the screen. how can we fix this?

I dont know why it appears on the dvd but if you turn off closed caption it should go away. I have a 27" Emerson and i was having the same problem. I turned off cc and it went away.

when we hit any button on the remote , it will go away for like 10 seconds. the TV is about

A black box appears on the screen about 10 seconds after turning the tv on. The box blocks every show on every channel. It is a Samsung TV and is about 2 1/2 years old.
tried powering down the tv and direct TV box. Still seeing the black box.

The TV worked fine for about 1 month then the black box appears on the screen after a few seconds then goes away, It seems less frequent when I am using A/V Inputs.
Last week the TV turned on and now has a black screen in the center of the screen. It only goes away when the menu or display is pushed. Then when it has been on for a few minutes it goes off and black screen appears.
I do not have a remote. How do I turn off cc using menu buttons. The manual does not tell how to turn off, only how to turn on.
i have an emerson 27" tv and i have the same problem also. I appeared one day out of nowhere. I am able to play games and watch dvds but not tv.
