CONTACT LEXMARK OR LOOK AT THIER AVAILABLE DOWNLOADS ON THIER WEB SITE. ALSO TRY A RESET. UNPLUG THE COMUNICATION CABLE FROM THE PRINTER TO THE COMPUTER AND UNPLUG THE THE PRINTER FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS THEN PLUG THE COM CABLE BACK UP AND THEN THE POWER CORD. IT MAY JUST NEED RESET.

please change your printer data cable.

1 st remove your old driver for computer and reuinstall driver.
may be printer port is changed it is in control panel printers properties in advanced option u see ports.

Most probably there is comunication problem between the printer and the computer. Have a look at the comunication cable, try another cable or reinstal the printer again. GOOD LUCK.

You need to download Vista drivers for your printer from the Manufacturers website. Your computer does not know how to talk to your printer with out the updated driver.

hook up printer, so computer can 'see' it

try anew

Of course the first this people are going to say is the obvious. Have you checked the connections on both ends? Have you tried a different cable? Have you powered off both the PC and the printer?
