As you might know the EX-100 has a software glitch that makes F-lock off by default. Sometimes but not often it turns on after reboot. Is there a way to make a shortcut of some kind and turn it on in the registry ? Or does anyone have any other tips? And no I'm not buying a different keyboard, I've had lots of problems with keyboards(cheap strange brand crap) and this is my forth, thought I'd go with a Logitech, well known brand and all, but no no no PLZ help me ! ;)
If you have no use of the keyboards' special features you can uninstall Logitech Setpoint. I have tried that and everytime I boot the F led is on.

I ran into this problem today and had to get access to the function keys. In desperation I plugged in a spare, hardwired keyboard into the back of my laptop while leaving the wireless keyboard on and operable. It worked great! This however is unfortunate thing to do you have to use the F-keys daily and especially if you take your keyboard along with your laptop like I do but it works OK.

I just talked to the Logitech support on the phone, and they say it´s a software problem on this model. And the only way to fix it is to buy another model of keyboard. Too bad it was a while since I bought it and cant return it to the shop. And there´s no plans from Logitech to release an update of the software either. So think twice before you buy Logitech crap. I really love the feel of this keyboardm but with this shit... I aint gonna recommend Logitech to anyone.

Well i had the same problem for an hour now and I fixed it by restarting windows and unplugging both the USB and PS2 cables. When windows started again the F LED on the receiver was turned on and the F-Keys were working. Btw before restarting I also removed the Logitech SetPoint Process from the Startup Tab in msconfig. To run msconfig, press Start>Run and type "msconfig".

I called customer service and they were able to help me out. Try to call them and they might be able to fix that for you. My function keys are working properly now.

Usually answered in minutes!
f-lock = funcion keys F1-F12.
I can only use them like once a week.
There is NO f-lock key that's the problem.
It was going to be Software controlled but they forgot to add that little piece in the software. Too bad for us suckers that bought this keyboard.
BTW I wrote post #2 above
