You need to do the following steps: 1. While the song is playing, press and hold the joystick button. A screen will pop up. 2. Select 'Favorite (+)'. Once you do this, you should be able to see the song in your 'Favorites' folder.

How to do playlist on the s100

Hi, You can do play list from your PC. By connecting your MP3 player to the PC through Usb cable..

Things You'll Need:

* Computer
* Media player
* Digital music files

Creating a playlist on your computer is an easy way to organize your music. Playlists allow you to organize music by different artists or different genres. More advanced playlists can even sort your music based on when it was added or how often you play a particular song. Creating a playlist is an easy task regardless of the media player you use to play your music.

Determine what songs you would like to add to your playlist.

Create a new playlist in your media player. Depending on your media player, this step will vary. There is usually a "Create Playlist" button that you can click to create a new playlist. In iTunes, this button is on the bottom lower left corner. In Winamp, click the "View" menu and select "Playlist Editor".

Select the songs that you want in your playlist from a new Windows Explorer window. If you are using a Macintosh computer, select the songs from a new Finder window. You can hold down CTRL to select multiple tracks. Drag and drop these selected songs into the new playlist you have just created.

Save the playlist you have just created. Most media players have a "Save Playlist" button. Other media players such as iTunes will automatically save the playlist for you when you first create it. In Winamp, click the "Manage Playlist" button in the bottom right corner. In the following context menu, click "Save Playlist". Name the playlist whatever you want and then choose where you want it to be saved.

Have a nice day....

Changing file names and creating playlists

Changing the filename won't change to artist, title, album ext... The easiest way I know of to change this is with MediaMonkey, a free media player. Click the link and install and open Mediamonkey. Find your MP3 player on the left side to browse the music. Highlight the music that you want to change the artist for in your MP3 player, right click>Properties.
You can also create playlists with MediaMonkey.

Sansa m250 playlists

First you need to set your Sansa m250 mp3 player to MTP mode:

) Tap your menu button and select "Settings" > "USB".
2) On this screen, make sure that there is a check next to "Auto Detect" and NOT "MSC".

Note: Music that was transferred to the player in "MSC" (Mass Storage Class) mode will not be accessible once the player is put into MTP mode.

However, the music can still be accessed by switching the player back to MSC mode.

To transfer a playlist using Windows Media Player version 10:

- Make sure device is showing as an "audio device" and in MTP mode
- Create a playlist by right clicking a song in the library, add to>additional playlists>new or by saving a now playing list
- Select the Sync tab and click "Sync settings"
- Check "Synchronize device automatically"
- Set "View" to "All Playlists"
- Place a check next to the playlists they want to transfer to device
- Media Player should then sync those lists once you hit OK.
Once you Sync for the first time a new folder "Playlists" will appear in your m250 using Windows Explorer. Once that folder is created you can even use Windows Explorer alone to create playlists, all you have to do is right click on a song and choose create a playlist. Double click on playlist > Reference Tab, on the window you simply drag and drop your songs.

Hope this helps

Probelm with playlists

The Vista compatible software may work different, but I have mine set to Repeat OFF, and I have no problem with playlist play. Is it possible that the songs that you put on your playlist are in the wrong format? If they were streaming files, or DRM-encrypted WMA's, there may be issues with playback. Convert the songs in your playlists to mp3 format ON THE COMPUTER, and then delete the playlists that are not working OFF YOUR SANSA. And then re-add the playlists to your Sansa.

I have an mp3 player and i need help creating playlists and deleting

The below was copyed froma an earlier post of mine, read the bottom. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R Playlists can be created by puttung your music in separte folders within drive f:, each folder will show up as a playlist. How to create multiple playslists for M250

Alright, well if you are adding songs to your MP3 player by using Windows Media Player, you can create playlists there, sort the songs into what playlists you want them in, right click the playlist, and click "add to sync list".

If you are manually copying and pasting the music into the mp3 player (that's how I do it) it's a little less obvious... For me there are three main folders: Music, Playlists, and RECORD. So we want to go to the playlists folder. In there, assuming you have at least one playlist already, you can copy and paste it, naming it something else and changing its properties as you see fit (right click -> properties). To add songs to the playlist, you go to it's properties, and under the references tab, drag the music files from wherever you have them stored and drop them in the references tab. This won't move your music, it'll just add them to the playlist. and.... guess that's about it. Hopefully that helped.
