Buy a digital antena or have roof antena,get better receptions and stable Hz.Rescan when get better signal should get it back an it stable's.

Go to the maker's website, look for Customer Support or similar heading.
User manuals are usually their first main service (because so many get lost)
Enter the model and serial numbers and other info they may ask for and you'll probably soon have the manual to view or download & print.

How do i tune in stations in the RM 870 sony trinitron

Press button [6] to enter tuning mode.Press either [2] or [4] to tune upwards or downwards.or Press button [3] and then enter a two digit RF frequency no (if you know the RF no from your transmitter). ie 36 for a vcr.You might have to press either button [1] or [5] to 'store' the channel, before finally pressing button [6] to come out of tuning mode

Itv and ch4 channels have no signal on my digital

First check with some of your neighbours to find out if they have the same problem if you are using a communial aerial, if thiers are ok, try re-tuning the TV from "Auto tune" in the set-up menu, this will retune the entire TV & should pick up the missing channels.

I can not tune a SONY KD-28DL10U t.v. when accessing the menu only 2 options are highlighted--AV Preset & Detail set up.--Auto Tuning is not highlighted.

I live in Bristol area and have retuned my TV but can only get Welsh BBC and ITV etc and not the west country ones

I have lost channels 5,itv 3,and itv 4,and do not know how to retune my tv, all other channels appear to be alright slightly confused when i press the menu button and not know which links to follow?

All Freeview channels need re-tuned after 30th September.
To re-tune your Sony TV...

1.Press Menu button then go to settings...

2.Scroll down the menu icons until you get to 'Digital Set-up'

3.Press enter/centre key next to direction arrows

4. Select spanner icon and digital audio tuning.

5. You will then be asked if you want to start digital audio tuning.

6. Press enter/centre button....and thats it!.... TV will automatically re-tune.

try tuning tv in another room, if it works it is then your cable or socket, try the cable next. If it wont tune its a faulty set.
