Hello, my 2 year old Sony kdf-55wf655 rear projection 55? TV. will come on (pitcher and sound) 4 about a minute then shuts down, after about 10sec the then red power light(not the lamp light witch has not come on as of yet) turns green and flashes about 30 times\sec and the TV. Comes back on, then it starts cycling on of over and over. If it is the lamp time telling me to replace lamp then how do you reset the timer? Jim Mattos DAVIS CAL [email protected]
If you replace the lamp and need to reset the Lamp Timer Reset procedure is: With The Set In Standby Press Display, 5, Vol Up, Power on the remote control Press Jump 3. Or, To Display The Lamp Time Press 2 Nine Times. To Reset Press 3, Mute, Enter. One of these should work on your model. Make sure you replace the bulb first. There is a possibility that the ballast could be damaged by a defective bulb as well.

tyla1000 lamp brand new tv came on and before i could reset lamp timer it shut down wont come back on
