Port getting flaps

In V100R005 and later versions:
Run the snmp-agent trap enable feature-name feature-name trap-name trap-name command in the system view to enable a trap of a specified module.
Run the undo snmp-agent trap enable feature-name feature-name trap-name trap-name command in the system view to disable a trap of a specified module.
For example, to enable the hwethernetarpipconflictevent trap of the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) module, run the following commands:

When the router first starts booting you need keep hitting the break sequence which should be crtl+F6 and that should bring you to ROMMON mode. you should get a prompt rommon 1>, that means you did it right. Now you need to change the configuration registers to 0x2142 by typing "confreg 0x2142". then type reset to restart the router. It should now ignore the saved config. hit crtl+c to cancel the initial setup, type "enable" to get to the enable prompt. Next type "copy startup-config running-config" to copy the startup configuration to the running configuration. Next type "configure terminal" to enter global configuration mode. Now you can type "enable secret <password>" to change the password to what you want. Last you need to change the config registers back to 0x2102 by entering the command config-register 0x2102.

Type "show version" in privileged exec

I have no idea if it will work on your switch - but I just looked in my IOS directory, and I have the following:

I don't know where it came from, though - I tend to TFTP off the boot image on every piece of Cisco hardware I get just in case...

Hi James,

As I can see here that you need the jumper setting specifications for your motherboard K9N6SGM V2 #MS-7309 with a single IDE port.

Even this is for version 1 the layout for the Jumper settings are still the same with your version 2 motherboard the only differences with version to are the changes on the support and bios version
