has the ops manual for your TV. If you don't have one, try that. Check if there is a way, perhaps a setup for surround sound, that disables the internal speakers. It would be somewhere in the TV's menus.

You most likely need two new buffers and possibly a new/repair for YSUS board LJ41-02142A .

Considering the age of the TV my advice would be to just get a new one.

take your cable line and put adaptor on it going from cable to RCA. They have them at radio shack for $2.49 ea.

Yes and no.  Yes you can connect the PS3 to the plasma using the component video inputs, games and videos will play fine.  However the native resolution of the TV is only 480P (852X480 pixels) which is much lower than the 1080P that the PS3 is capable of.  If you want a tv that can get the best possible image from the PS3 you would need a TV with full 1080P resolution and HDMI ports for digital input. Sounds like convergence are off. Go to menu and find tv convergence and reset. This deals with red, blue, and green.
