Question about Maxent MX-42VM 42 in. Plasma HDTV

Hi ..I was wondering if Playstation 3 and the blue ray features would work with my Maxent MX-42VM10 Plasma Screen TV? Thank you ...kev

Yes and no. Yes you can connect the PS3 to the plasma using the component video inputs, games and videos will play fine. However the native resolution of the TV is only 480P (852X480 pixels) which is much lower than the 1080P that the PS3 is capable of. If you want a tv that can get the best possible image from the PS3 you would need a TV with full 1080P resolution and HDMI ports for digital input. Hope this helps!

You most likely need two new buffers and possibly a new/repair for YSUS board LJ41-02142A .

Considering the age of the TV my advice would be to just get a new one.

Maxent P420142x3 model no. No cable or sat box only coax how do you hook up to TV. no attenna port on back of TV

take your cable line and put adaptor on it going from cable to RCA. They have them at radio shack for $2.49 ea.

I have a 42" Maxent plasma TV about 7 years old.

Is it 7 years old? Marvelous. Exciting. the lifetime of Maxent televisions are 6 moths the most!!!

I have a 3 year old Maxent MX-42VM11 plasma tv with no pic/sound

swollen capasitors, replaceing will cost $500, so best to get another one, 42'' samsung will sell for about $800. the pn42a450

once a plasma has a problem, fixing it or not, more problems will occure, trust me, i am the flat pannel guru.
