Dino Buddy not responding to r/c

I have a Dino Buddy bought in US (I live in UK) that stopped working after one day. The Dinosaur operates when you press the button on it's neck and the remote control light is on - but it doesn't walk or roar when you push the buttons. I've checked inside the r/c unit and there are no obvious loose connections.
Any idea what's wrong?

I think it sounds as thougth I wrote the 1st problem.  I have taken apart the remote and everything looks right.  The batteries have been changed out and still nothing unless you push the button on the side of the dinosaur.

I bought this same dino at Wal-Mart, and I am having the same problem. Remote not working. I changed batteries in both the dino and remote, the light on remote is on, but nothing happens when you press the buttons on the remote. The button on the dino makes the head move and it roars, so I feel it must be the remote. I no longer have the box, and I cannot find any info on who makes it.

When my son's died, I put brand new Duracell batteries in the dino and the remote. The demo button on the dino worked but the remote didn't.

Then I put Energizer batteries in the remote and now everything is working just fine.

Where to buy a battery charger for spike the ultimate dinosaur

Glad to help YOU!
I hope my answer will be HELPFUL and it will SAVE A LOT OF YOUR TIME!

To get a battery charger for the dino you can go on Mattel website (click HERE) and you have to REGISTER (by choosing an ID and a password); once you've done with that use THIS LINK to see the battery charger.
But KEEP IN MIND that the charger is around $14 and you will have to pay the SHIPPING TAXES as well (that are about $5)

GOOD LUCK!

My DSI opens up but does not responds on the touch screen, left and right button and x / y button. but the camera can take pictures

One time when my dinosoar of a ds was not a dino, I left it plugged in to the wall for a few days. When I went to unplug it and play a game that required the touch screen, it seemed to not know i was touching it. That night I went and bought mario bros. partners in time and played that game (which used buttons and not the screen) until my ds died and I recharged it only for a day and the touch screen worked again.

Another time I went to someones house with 2 little kids and let them play my game. They lost my pen ( and it was a hassel finding a pen small enough to fit in the slot) and started using their fingers. We ate some super buttery popcorn and kept touching the screen with our fingers. The next day the touch screen did not work and my step dad had to use windex 3 times daily for 2 days before it would work.

Make sure you try what I tried a few times. Pretty much any problem you have with the touch screen not responding can be fixed by letting your batteries run out of juice and recharging in a maximum time of 1 day. If this fails you, make sure you are using the bottom screen. You dont know how many people I have met that kept replacing their ds and ended up finding out they were using the wrong screen. Finally, replace the screen, and buttons or just replce the ds or dsi.

Hoover Vacuum not working - Dust Manager Cyclonic 1800W

Sounds like it got plugged up. I doubt if you can get it exchanged, but to try you would have to take it back where you bought it. But you have a years warranty, take it in to a warranty repair shop to get it repaired. Just take proof of purchase with you.
