Hold the power button and the "Home Key" for several seconds. That should reset the phone.

Let me know if this works, if not, we'll go from there.

Good Luck,
Simon

Only in my iphone 3 apple logo cmng and itunes sign is coming with conector sign

That means you have to sync your phone with iTunes.
And to do that you must have an iTunes account (free) and the latest version of iTunes (free)

Then once you get those and iTunes installed, This is what you do

  1. Download and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
  2. Open iTunes.
  3. Connect the iOS device to your computer using the included USB cable and select it in iTunes under Devices on the left-hand side.
  4. Set up which items are to be synced: Click the corresponding tabs in iTunes to specify which information you want synced between the iOS device and your computer.
  5. Click Apply, in the lower-right corner of the screen, to sync.
I hope that helps you out. Anytime the Apple logo shows up with the iTunes logo that means the phone needs to by synced with iTunes and your apple account..

Thank you

I tried to upgrade my Iphone and I did not do it. Now I can not use it. I tried to restore and show me and error.

Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.

Reset

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:

Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Happy Holidays!

My iphone is not showing the chargfing icon yet it is charging, slowly

You may please keep in mind that iPhone battery may drain instead of charge if iPhone is connected to a computer that's turned off or is in sleep or standby mode. If you charge the battery while syncing or using iPhone, it may take longer to charge. About not showing the charging icon, please try resetting the phone by pressing the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button both simultaneously after which the phone restarts after some time with apple logo on the screen. -- MS Ramakrishna

IPhone

Hello Bruce,

Try this first:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake (on top of the iphone) button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. The phone will turn off. Then, push and hold it again, until the phone comes back on.

If that doesn't work, try this:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. This will do a "hard reset" and should bring your iphone back to life!

Please let us know how this works for you.

Best regards,
Bill
