Question about Kenmore 16602 / 16604 / 16609 Built-in Dishwasher
Kenmore Elite Dishwasher: Model 665.16952. While not in operation it slowly fills up. It appears to be a leak. Water comes in through a port on the left side of the dishwasher -- approximatly 6 inches from the bottom and 7 inches from the back. The water comes in at a very slow trickle, but enough to fill the bottom between uses. This just began to occur in the past week. To get rid of the water we have been pressing the cancel/drain button. We have run the dishwasher daily and the problem appears to be consistent -- occuring after each time we run the washer. The washer is 4+ years old and we have never had any other issues with it.

Hi,
I have an older dishwasher also and recently my wife also complained about it not cleaning right... so me being the man I am tried in vain to clean the things... Bought new spray arms online and installed them in minutes...now the thing works like new... However I have also found that if the heating element goes bad then that also can mess things up bad... So I would buy new spray arms, and also check out the heating element to make sure it is working... Here is a tip that will help you with the online buying...
