I would say your small signal module is bad. This is the board with the convergence ICs. Have a tech or yourself pull the board out and replace the ICs and some resistors. Checkout TVREPAIRKITS.com. They will have your model and its symptoms. Hope to guide you in the right direction!

Color

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

Philips 55

This tint of green may just be one of the chips going out(There are three chips: red, green, and blue.). You can buy these for about $80-$100, but sometimes they are hard to come by(depends on where you are). You may also try to readjust the screen from the back. If you look in the back if you remov the wood that covers the back of your TV, there should be about 6 little knobs you are able to turn(Focus, red, green, blue, tilt, or reset...i think).try that...

It also depends on however long you have had this TV. It this time: you may also want to buy new resistors, for some of them may just blow out right after you fix the chip.(they are about 50 cents-1 dollar).

Hope that helps

Green Picture.

i suggest to have it check by a qualified service technician. there seems to be a problem with your crt (cathode ray tube). because inside this projection tv are 3 crt guns responsible for color red, green and blue, which only qualified technician can adjust it and replace if it is necessary.
