Your probably in a bad place and you wont pick up a signal like if your out of cell phone range, except your probably out of radio range for am stations.

Check with an Audi Dealer. There are some stations that went Digital along with the TV stations. Your receiver may be outdated.

SOURCE: radio stations cant be picked up on audi concert

Hi.

Check the antenna connector and wiring. The point where antenna loses connection is usually the coax connector at the back of the radio.

To pull out the radio follow the instructions in the video below:

Possibly test the connector using an Ohm meter to make sure that the two contacts are fine. Check if an antenna adapter has been installed. In case test or replace the adapter. If the antenna connector is OK replace the antenna.

AM Radio dead means the antenna is missing wires to it bad. or missing.
FM may work say on 1 stations if the stations is like 5 miles away, all stations that are under say 25miles must work or the antenna is bad. FM, and vastly farther for AM.

2014grand caravan fm stations all static

Most likely the antenna lead has come unhooked from the back of the radio. AM stations will pick up with the internal working of the radio, but FM stations have to have a working antenna to work. Also make the antenna is tight to the vehicle .

How do I fix the factory radio-antenna situation where I have no AM radio, when FM works fine?

If you pick up FM. It isn't the antenna. It's an internal radio problem.

97 mitsubishi bad radio reception

It sounds like you are just in a weak reception area. If you feel this is not the case first try replacing the entire antenna assembly, it would be the primary cause of this type of problem.

The AM side of the radio receives a few local stations...the FM side works fine...are there two separate antenna...thanks

The antenna for your am receiver is located inside the radio itself and is only a couple of inches in length and about 3/8 of an inch in diameter.

No fm radio stations tune in. 1993 Acura Legend/ w Bose radio/cassett. AM works great. verified all antenna connections already.

Not much it can be really. If it is picking up A.M. no problem then it is not a connection problem. It is a fault in the radio itself. F.M. frequency is the easiest to pick up so get the radio checked as it has to be internal.
