Machine stops and goes to end half way through a cycle
I have a zanussi zwf1431 maching and when i put it on to do a load it will wash but skip's the rinses and spin and i have to then put it onto a rinse and spin cycle has any one any ideas what the problem could be.
It goes through the cycle until the drain section of the programme then it gives out error code e20. If I drain it manually it continues but how do I get it to drain itself? It goes through the cycle until the drain section of the programme then it gives out error code e20. Disconnecting the wires from the main PCB helped resolve half the problem, but the machine still does not rinse and spin. Unless programmed manually. Still, that's easily done at the end of a wash cycle. Is liveble.
To verify my suspicion, it will be necessary to pull the machine out from the wall and remove the lower panel which is normally only a half-dozen screws.
With the AC plug pulled and a good light, check the tub suspension which will be located at or near each corner and may be either sturdy springs or heavy rubber rings.
They must all be attached to hold the tub centered.
One of these has failed or at least come loose from its anchor.
One looses touch with all the codes available, but normally if washer stops mid cycle its due to a blocked or faulty drain pump. OR incomming water is to slow or defective inlet sensor. Switch off and start from the beginning. See if you can get machine to drain by moving the timer etc. If not, rectify pump problem. Take note where in the cycle the problem arises.
your mach depending on model and cycle selected has a 3 to 5min "add a garment" feature.that means in the 1st 3-5mins of cycles when add a garment light is lit you may hit pause button once and the mach will stop and unlock door.after add a gament light is off,if u hit pause the cycle the mach will drain water and reset cycle..hope this helps
