Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
When I try to print a drawing solid from my cad software, I only get a partial print. I have printed these in the past with no problem but now it does not work. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to fix this? Have I inadvertently changed a setting or something? Ernie
It is a process of elimination. List the things you did just before it stopped printing properly and eliminate these ie did you install a new program? (it may have had spyware) did you change windows os, or install an update that changed some settings. Sometimes it can be an error with the program itself, try uninstalling the cad software and reinstall it again and try printing again, but only after you have tries printing from another program. Open wordpad or notepad, type a few letters and try to print. Did it do the same or did it prinnt correctly? If it did, you now it is something to do with the software. If id did not, you could even have a dirty printhead or cartridges. Are ink levels full or low? Only after eliminating thes etypes of issues can you narrow down the cause. Run antispyware as a precaution.
