Dell Ultrascan P990 19in CRT is getting dimmer

But before you send it i want you to make sure that you do not have the drivers

Which you can check in device manager if you would have the drivers in device manager than you can go to control panel and the Sound and devices than your can change the sound device in audio TAB and get your issue fixed.

if you are using an lcd monitor, make sure you have connected the vga (screen cable) properly and tight both on the tower and your monitor. if its crt monitor then make sure the vga cable is tightly connected to the tower on the female connector

Check your VGA connector (from monitor to PC), namely the pins in the connector. It's pretty easy to bend a pin, so that it doesn't make the connection. If you happen to do this to the connection present pins, then the monitor won't know that it is connected and will just display the message you are seeing.

to reinstall windows, you would have to cantact dell for a new windows disk, which may cost you a few dollars.

1. Speakers working volteage 6V , 9V, 12V. you do onething give me the 5V ,from system SMPS ( black & red colour wires ) you should maintain the polarites. black wire is negative, red wire is positive.its working fine , then give me the 12V from SMPS. ( black & yellow wires )

Check if motherboards you connect the monitor into has a video signal frequency range that the monitor supports.

hi sounds like you have weak picture tubes do not open the screen ***DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION AND DEATH*** try taking to some1 who knows how 2 fix it good luck
