Go to the Control Panel.
Go to add and remove programs.
Make sure that there is a check in the box "show Updates" on the upper right.
Scroll down to Internet Explorer 7
uninstall IE7
then reboot.
That should take you back to IE6

Pl note that only Windows 7 Ultimate or Professional supports downgrade rights to Windows Vista Ultimate, Business or Windows XP Professional.
You can do a downgrade as long as you have a full version Windows Vista license.
If you are referring to Windows 7 downgrade rights, this option is specific to the manufacturer, computer model and the edition of Windows 7 you have installed.
