The vertical adjustment works for both driver side and passenger side mirrors, although it is tempermental. The horizontal "right" toggle works for both sides, but it needs some massaging. The horizontal "left" toggle ("out" for driver's side and "in" for passenger side) adjustment doesn't work at all. Do you have any suggestions?

Check the connections between the door and the body, not the panel on the door. If a wire was pinched between the door and body that could be the problem. There should be a boot between door and body, peal that back and look for damaged or grounded wires. Repair as necessary.

Generally fuses control an entire system, in this case it sounds as if you have a wiring problem such as a plug has come undone that wires the door equipment. Check the wiring that goes to the door, follow it to your problem.

A fuse contains a thin metal bridge between two terminals. When too muchelectrical current is drawn through the fuse the bridge melts, breaking thecircuit. This feature prevents damage to electrical components and limits thepossibility of a fire. The Chevrolet Blazer utilizes small fuses to protect thevehicle's wiring harness from overload. These are typically plug-in blades, notthe glass-barrel fuses used in older vehicles.
Location
The fuse panel ona Chevy Blazer is located on the driver's side of the firewall beneath thedashboard. Some later models may be equipped with a fuse panel cover. To removethe cover, pull the retaining clips loose on each side and lift the cover fromthe panel.
