The wireless mouse Double clicks on its own

I will single click on something, but the mouse double clicks.

  • Anonymous Dec 29, 2008

I just got my wireless mouse and keyboard yesterday and installed it today. The mouse - Logitech, won't double click. I've been reading troubleshooting info all day and can't find a solution to this. How do I get it to open desktop icons and other programs - by double clicking?

My mouse is set to single click, but it double clicks instead. It hasn't always done this, and I don't recall any particular event that made it start. Help!

When I left click it will double click

There is a possibility that on the windows operating system (control panel/ mouse) the option to double click with a single touch is turned on. I doubt that it is a problem related to the wireless system itself.

I am having trouble with my computer mouse. It is not clicking properly to highlight or will double click when I've only single clicked. Any solutions?

Check mouse settings in control panel. There is some options for double click speed and many other options check once . If double click speed is high then system behaves like this. try to change
