There is no paper in the MP tray.
Add paper to the tray. Press the key to resume
Feeding the paper having a paper size
which does not match the current paper
size from the MP tray can cause paper jam.
In other words just put Your paper cassete correctly in (there are known problems with the paper casete sensor not always detecting it correctly. You might also try to stick something - small sticky note fragment- onto the microswich to make it react somewhat earlier)

The number of orange flashes between green flashes indicates the type of error, as outlined below. Check the cause and take the appropriate action.
Two flashes: Out of paper, paper jam or paper feed error Replace the paper correctly and press the RESUME/CANCEL button. If paper has jammed in the printer, clear the jam and press the RESUME/CANCEL button.
Three flashes: Paper jam If paper has jammed in the printer, clear the jam, replace the paper in the printer correctly and press the RESUME/CANCEL button.
Four flashes: Empty ink tank One of the ink tanks is empty. Replace it.

If that didn't fix you, I guess it's time to get in touch with canon, or a repair lab you trust.
