Question about Canon MultiPASS C5500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hi- I have an 8 year old Canon Multipass C5500 that has worked just great until today. I ran out of black ink last night. I put a new BCI-21 Black cartridge in today and the alarm still comes on to change the cartridge. I turned it off and tried to print anyway. My print out prints the color, but not the black text. I looked in the T/S part of the manual and cleaned the head several times as suggested, but this did not fix the problem. Not sure what to do next. Can you help me? Thanks-

Excellent solution. May want to run the maintenance clean head action from the printer menu on the printer and also print a horizontal line test page to make sure the heads are aligned properly.
