Removal icon doesn't show on task bar - SanDisk Sansa c140 MP3 Player

Look on your task bar for the battery icon. If you don't see one , right click the taskbar, click on properties, in notification area click on custom button, the look for b attery icon and have it show on your task bar if not already selected. when your icon appears on the task bar, just hover on the icon, it will tell you the state of your battery

It is not very obvious. The bar at the bottom of screen is your 'Task Bar'
1. Find an empty part of your Task Bar and Right Click on it
2. Select Properties
3. Near the bottom of the menu in 'Notification Area' tick Box 'Show clock'
While you are there, it shows all icons that are on your Task Bar. If empty find the 'Hide Tasks' box and untick
4. Tick Apply and OK

Go to Window's task bar, go to start> control panel > accessibility. under the visual assistance panel, click next to the box that mentions showing the icon in task bar does it work?.

you need to enable the volume Icon to show it at the task bar to do it,click the start icon then choose control pannel select sound and audio devices check the "place audio icon at the task bar...good luck!

if so , to reapply the volume icon to the task bar go to control panel, then click Notification area icons then the icons and their behaviours will appear.. Under the behaviours click the drop down list box of the volume icon and choose show icon and notification then click ok . that's all now you will see the volume icon in your task bar ...

the icons and the bar(task bar) at the bottom of the screen are enabled by the explorer.exe file

it starts automatically but in your case it is not starting

to start it when your computer starts and comes at the desktop, press alt+ctrl+delete button at the same time to bring up the task manager

when you do this a task manager shows up in a window

in task manager window click on file, it will be located on the top left portion on task manager

now click on "new task(run)"

this opens another window, in that window type
"explorer"
without the quotes "" and press enter
this will bring you icons and task bar at the bottom of the screen

Just right click the task bar and click properties and then click customize , then click restore default Over!!!!

explorer.exe is what displays the icons and the startup bar on the screen so try opening explorer.exe from the task manager. Or if it is already running close it and then reopen it.

This is probably because your device is set up for 'Optimize for fast removal'.meaning that is not necessary to stop the device
