My daughter got an mp3 player for christmas. the mp3 player worked fine up to 2days ago. the problem is, when you cutt the mp3 on, it comes on. the screen says:"searching for files 20%". well it stays that way and will not change or cutt off. my daughter is very upset. if there's someone out there that can help my daughter and i with this problem. we would be very thankful someone cared who could solve this puzzle, cause our pieces won't fit! help!
Hi Muffin Cake: I had the same problem and here's what I did to solve it. I had a previous folder with all the music that I put on my Ilo MP3 player, so I proceeded to format the MP3 player. It erases every complete. Now, start copying and pasting all your music files back on to the player. To format your MP3 player, click on Start, then click on My Computer icon, right click the removable drive or the MP3 player and click on format in the context window. Good luck.
If you still have the reciept you can return it to the company if there is a warranty on it(if the warranty hasn't expired) But if you don't have the reciept then try taking off all of the songs then putting some of them back on. The more you have on the more likely you are to encounter problems like this. If that doesn't work then I can't help you anymore. Sorry. Also you might want to look at a trouble shooting guide on the internet for the exact model of the mp3 player. I hope your daughter will feel better if it works.
