You need to by a memory card (phone company sells), put it in the phone and transfer the pictures to the memory card, You then put that very small card inside a small case that makes it look the size of a camera memory card, put that in a card reader which you attach via USB port to your computer and you can transfer the pictures to your computer.
Hello as far as I know there is a lot of chance that you have to use a software and also the software made by the phone company ...unless you are using an ipod or iphone which uses itunes to transfer multimedia content

The best way to transfer photos to a storage is use the feature in google+ (plus) to transfer from phone to another device that also has a removable storage,as well as google+ installed on it.
Then transfer your photos onto other device storage card..
