Question about LG L1730S 17" LCD Monitor
The monitor flashes the brand name of the monitor then afterwards it says monitor on POWER SAVING MODE.. it doesnt turn on all the cable wires are connected properly.
A quick Google tells me this is a VGA analog interface monitor. Have you another monitor to test with, to see if the problem is the PC or the monitor. If another monitor works (esp. a CRT) your L1730s may still be fine. Set the refresh rate of the graphics adapter to 60HZ. then test your LCD again. Some monitors just blank the screen when they get a refresh rate they cannot handle. p.d.
