Description
E-label cannot be read or print cartridge is not properly installed.
Action
- Open the front cover of printer and remove the toner cartridge exhibiting error.
- Inspect the print cartridge to ensure the e-label reader is attached to print cartridge and is not damaged.
- Inspect the inside of printer to verify the e-label does not have any product packing tape still attached.
- Inspect the e-label reader to ensure
the gold contact points are not damaged or bent. Also inspect the black
plastic on e-label reader to ensure it is not bent or broken.
- Reinstall the print cartridge.
- Power cycle the device.
- If reinstalling the print cartridge does not resolve the issue, replace the print cartridge.
