Question about Panasonic PV-DF2704 27 in. TV/VCR/DVD Combo
Clean the lens with a clean, dry and soft cotton swab. use also microduster to remove accumulated dust inside the lens assembly.

yes you can access it without taking any part, just the cover of the vcr/dvd unit. i've never use any type or brand of dvd lens cleaner, just clean, dry and soft cotton swab and aircompress duster usually use for computers. yes u can blast some pressurized air duster in there. if the problem is still the same after these precedures, maybe its about time to send it to a shop for further analysis. maybe the optical lens assembly needs to be replaced. good luck!

i have the same problem as thnkfl9, it wpuld not read the dvd"s and the clicking sound Also when i try one of those dvd cleaning disk the tv would try to read that disk and would say this type of disk cannot be played. help me please i have had this tv for about two years.
DVD plays but makes a grinding noise as it does so.
