Question about Nokia 9300 Handheld

1 Answer

Freezing My Nokia 9300 frequently freezes. The only way I know to fix is to remove the battery. Is there a simpler/quicker fix? Also the Blackberry service, that letter "B", frequently turns itself off, even though it is actually on. The only way I know to fix this is to turn it off and on again. Is there a way to prevent his problem?

The freezing may be because the logs are full. I had this issue and then set the log levels to "7 days". Everything worked well after that. I found this solution on some other website.

Press "Cntl-Shift-L" and then press Menu. Under "Tools" you will find the option to set Log Duration. Before that, you should clear your log. Hope this helps.

They do bad. I would either 1) install latest OS software using a PC and Desktop Manager, and 2) remove/replace battery to see if this fixes your problem. If not, time for another unit.

* When you see the screen with "NOKIA" in blue text,
* Press and hold the following four keys until a Format Message is displayed:

* Formatting will begin
* After formatting is complete the Nokia 9300 will reboot with some basic settings. If prompted, accept the request to reboot
* Follow the instructions on your Nokia 9300 to set the time, date and city and to enter your contact information.

I will suddenly get a "SIM card not valid" message

Use a computer and blackberry Desktop Manager to download software version ending with .180 into your phone through the mini usb cable.

Also you may need to clean the sim card, which is located near the battery (remove the battery). You may want to add a thin plastic spacer on top of the sim card to hold it into better contact with the phone.

Freezing Blackberry

have you removed the battery and put it back in.
his will reboot the software.
also make sure your battery is up to par, the battery in a blackberry when they get used for a while need to be changed, your phone is very graphic intensive and needs a very good battery to run without problems. replace the battery and see what happens.
