Keypad not working

you want change your keypad ic

Sorry to say this please replace keypad crstal IC,and jumper it will work 100% ....reheat the upper components and the the whole pcb,with care,the keypad ic is same as 6600, 6630, n70, 6680, 6280 LCD IC.

first step,you should update your phone's firmware and then clean the keytone .If nothing have changed,you can change the flexible,check the keypad track and check the keypad ic,replace if needed. And Finally,rehot the CPU or replace it.

I also have the same problem... Nokia support center used some software updater through which you can switch on your mobile without using power button. Keypad IC might have been damaged due to which the power button is not working.

43if its totally not working then your keypad ic is damaged U will have to go to a mobile repair shop and tell him to change its keypad ic...

i can solve that but first ad me at my ym ken_craze

go to a local mobile shop and there u will find that ur ic connections are not tightly bounded then u joint those ics by holder(with aluminium wire).

if keys not working means , try to service ur keypads... the service guy might change the keypad ic... it wil cost less only... without rectifying the keypad u cannot unlock.

If you havent formatted the phone you can try it but i doubt that there is anything you can do. Alot of Nokia series 60 phones have problems with this and they ussually get replaced. If under warranty

that is not a mojor problem just u need to change IC for charging and if u r keypad is not working means u need to change ur keypad chip....
